Knowsley Council is developing a new Economic Growth Plan, building on the achievements over the last 10 years. The borough has created more jobs, attracted more businesses and commercial development opportunities than ever before, and provided more homes.
 
Based on the Knowsley 2030 Strategy, the Economic Growth Plan will set out a clear vision for growing Knowsley’s economy and making sure that the borough’s growth benefits everyone.
The plan will include:-

• A long-term vision for Knowsley’s economy, matching the ambition set out in our Knowsley 2030 Strategy.
• Clearly identified strengths of the local economy, as well as opportunities for growth.
• A plan to ensure that growth benefits everyone who lives and works in Knowsley.

The council is seeking the views of residents, businesses and visitors to Knowsley to help to shape the plan in order to make the most of Knowsley's potential.

Initially, we are seeking your views through this online survey. We will also be working with businesses and other stakeholders over the coming months to shape this strategy. There will be opportunities to comment on the draft strategy itself in the coming months also - keep an eye on Knowsley News for further updates.
